The Sandbox is a virtual world where players can build, own, and monetize their gaming experiences using blockchain technology. The Sandbox uses non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to represent ownership of virtual goods and resources within its ecosystem.
LaCollection, the museum's licensing partner known for digitizing art from leading museums globally, also plays a role in this initiative. Together, they aim to engage new audiences and make the British Museum more accessible.
